Report Types

When filling out a report please note that only the fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.
E-mail addresses are only used to alert you to the status of your report.

Please choose from one of the following incident types:

  • Harassing Phone Call (Click Here)
    • If you have been the victim of unwanted phone calls of an annoying or harassing nature and do not know the person who is calling.
    • After completing your report please contact your telephone service provider with the report number you receive at the end of this process. Please keep track of when calls occur and the number they are from (if you have caller ID).
    • If the phone call is of a threatening nature please call the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.
  • Lost Property (Click Here)
    • Report property that is missing or lost.
    • Lost firearms cannot be reported on-line. Please call the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office to report lost firearms.
  • Theft (Click Here)
    • Report property that has been taken without your permission.
    • Property known to be stolen can be reported. Lost property is not a theft.
    • Do not use this link if the property stolen is valued $300 or more. Please call the Volusia County Sheriff's Office to report the theft.
    • Do not use this link if something was stolen from your vehicle. Please call the Volusia County Sheriff's Office to report a vehicle burglary.
    • Stolen firearms cannot be reported on-line. Please call the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office to report stolen firearms.
  • Vandalism (Click Here)
    • Report vandalism, which is defined as the changing, modifying or defacing public or private property.
    • Examples include graffiti, knocking over a mail box, throwing rocks through windows, etc.
    • Do not use this link if the damage is estimated to be $1000.00 or more. Please call the Volusia County Sheriff's Office to report the vandalism.
  • Vehicle Vandalism (Click Here)
    • Report damage to or tampering with a motor vehicle.
    • Examples include keying, broken windows, or slashed tires.
    • Do not use this link if the damage is estimated to be $1000.00 or more. Please call the Volusia County Sheriff's Office to report the vehicle vandalism.
